Rachel McCormick was born in Derry in 1969 and attended Art College at the University of Ulster, graduating in 1993. After living in Belfast for 30 years, she returned to live in Derry in 2017, with a renewed focus on her art. Rachel is inspired by nature and by her rural surroundings, in the countryside of Co Derry, painting mostly still-life and landscape in oils.
